No Trophies

I haven't the energy today to write a long, tell-all post. Forgive me.

For those who have not heard we never made it to the National Tournament last weekend. En route to Seoul our bus driver decided to take a nap, so did not see the cabbage truck he was about to ram. BAM! Cabbage everywhere.

No one was seriously injured, not even Alex. Busted teeth and contusions were the worst injuries. That's the long and short of it. I hope Mom and Dad M. do not read this while on their cruise. If they do . . .
  • We're fine. Go back to the lounge chair and drink a margarita for us.

Love you all. Peace.

Wow! You guys seem to have a knack for aquiring stories you'll enjoy telling for years to come! Thank God everyone was okay. Do you have any special plans for Thanksgiving? I imagine it's just another work day in Korea. Things are going well here. I'm spending the holiday with Nick and Jaina. I don't know if you've kept up on American news, but every Republican and his mother are being indicted, investigated, and/or slammed in the media--good times. I've become a complete news junkie. I recently saw two book presentations: one was Al Franken's "The Truth (With Jokes)" and the other was "Republican Like Me" (I forget the author's name) about a guy that infiltrated myriad conservative groups and campaigns to see what really goes on. Portland is good for stuff like that. Anyway, we're trying to shape this country up before your return. We might need a couple years to do it, though. Take care.

Alex and Audrey:

Who had the busted teeth and contusions?? Hope you are ok. The Korean Nationals probably arranged the accident to avoid giving up the Gold to two Americans!!

Back to our Margaritas!!

Love Mom & Dad M.
